Shall We Dance?

Max Pollak, tap dancer

In a concert inspired by dance, acclaimed tap dancer Max Pollak joins ETSO and guest conductor Jean-François Rivest for the rarely performed Tap Dance Concerto by Morton Gould.  Also on the program, Leonard Bernstein's Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, drawing on melodies from his popular Broadway musical, Alexander Borodin's Polotvsian Dances from Prince Igor, and Serge Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet Suite No. 2.
