The season concludes with an evenin of music by the Russian Masters including Tchaikovsky’s “Pathetique” Symphony, known by many due to the famous band transcription, and the powerful, popular and moving themes of Rachmaninoff’s virtuoso Piano Concerto No. 2. Joining Richard Lee and the orchestra is Van Cliburn Competition Finalist Di Wu.
