Corporate Giving

In addition to supporting the East Texas Symphony through the Annual Fund campaign, businesses may wish to reach the diverse audience of concert goers and patrons served by the ETSO through one of the sponsorship opportunities listed below.

Masterworks Concert Underwriting -- $2,500 to $20,000

Each season the East Texas Symphony present a five concert Masterworks Series, brining to the stage world-class and emerging artists, to perform with Per Brevig and the ETSO. Sponsors receive:

  • Recognition in promotional material/advertising for the sponsored concert
  • Sponsor will receive from 2 to 6 season tickets, depending on giving level, plus additional tickets to the sponsored concert.
  • Invitations to all post-concert receptions.
  • Signage at the concert and thanks from the stage.
  • Website acknowledgement of sponsorship connected to concert being supported
  • Invitations to other special events throughout the season

Young Peoples Series Underwriting -- $2,500 to $20,000

The East Texas Symphony Orchestra’s Young Peoples Series includes a set of three school concerts and a Family Concert that is open to the public. This provides a unique opportunity for many students to attend a live orchestral concert. Sponsors receive:

  • Recognition in promotional material, advertising and educational material for the concert
  • Family Concert Sponsors receive tickets to the sponsored concert (number depends on sponsorship level)
  • Invitations to concert-related events.
  • Signage at the concert and thanks from the stage.
  • Website acknowledgement of sponsorship
  • Invitations to other special events throughout the season

Open Rehearsals -- $500 per concert/$2,000 per season (5 concerts)

The East Texas Symphony Orchestra opens its final concert rehearsal for each Masterworks concert to the public on the Saturday afternoon of performance. This is a perfect time for those who cannot drive at night or for those with young children to experience the concert. Sponsors allow this offering to be free to the public. Sponsors receive:

  • Recognition at the event, on ETSO website, and in selected promotional material
  • Two (2) tickets for associated concert
  • Invitation to post-concert reception for associated concert

Opening Notes -- $500 per concert/$2,000 per season (5 concerts)

Prior to each Masterworks concert, the ETSO hosts an informal lecture on the evening’s repertoire, present by local classical music expert, Jim Yancy. These lectures, presented in the Cowan Center’s opera classroom, have become standing room only. Sponsors receive:

  • Recognition at the event, on ETSO website, and in selected promotional material
  • Two (2) tickets for associated concert
  • Invitation to post-concert reception for associated concert

Educational Engagement: Kirshbaum Strings -- $2,500 to $15,000

This program is designed to develop early string education programs in area schools. The ETSO works with interested schools to identify qualified instructors and to support the cost of program start up. The goal of the program is to enhance music education opportunities in schools and strengthen programs at higher grade levels by encouraging early interest in music. Sponsors are recognized in promotional material for the program.

Educational Engagement: Symphony Explorers -- $1,000 to $5,000

The Symphony Explorers program provides an enhanced concert experience for 4 th through 9 th grade music students. Explorers participate in special pre-concert programs, receive a regular newsletter, and get to experience the ETSO backstage. Sponsors are recognized in promotional material for the program and through signage at the pre-concert programs.

ETSO Newsletter -- $1,200/issue or $5,000/year (5 issues)

Print and electronic versions of the symphony’s newsletter are distributed to over 4200 individuals before each concert. Sponsors receive:

  • Recognition in the underwritten issues both in print and electronic versions
  • Single issue sponsors ($1,200) receive 2 tickets to concert featured in newsletter and invitation to the post-concert reception
  • Year sponsors ($5,000) will receive 2 season tickets to concerts and invitations to all related post-concert receptions

Patron Mail Underwriting -- $1,200 per year

Throughout the year, the East Texas Symphony Orchestra sends email reminders to patrons regarding concerts, special offers, and upcoming events. These highly produced pieces offer a great connection to current and potential ETSO audience members. Sponsors receive:

  • Recognition as sponsor on all Patron Mail communications distributed by ETSO
  • Recognition on ETSO website at Patron Mail underwriter
  • 2 tickets to Masterworks concert of your choice and invitation to the post-concert reception
