The Clarity of Copland: A Love for the Land

Learn more about James Westwater and his photochoreography:

The music of Aaron Copland is set to the spectacular photography of James Westwater in this inspiring concert presentation.  Westwater's photochoreography utilizes three screens suspended above the orchestra.  Images change and dissolve in perfect time to the music, creating a unique blend of art forms.

The concert's focus on our nation's landscape continues as the complexities of New York City are portrayed in Danielpour's Toward the Splendid City.  The concert concludes in the West with Ferde Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite.

Please bring non-perishable food items to the concert on the 25th in support of the East Texas Food Bank.  This is part of a collaborative effort between ETSO and ETFB, Feeding the Body, Feeding the Soul.
